Robi Walters
The Telegraph's Amazing 15
13 June 2012

We at 99 Mount Street Gallery are extremely proud to announce that our previous exhibiting artist, Robi Walters, has been selected as one of The Telegraph's Amazing 15, a competition to celebrate Britain's most exciting talent today. Robi is a highly innovative artist who makes collages of recycled materials. He has already had one highly successful exhibition at the 99 Mount Street Gallery and we look forward to working with him again. We are delighted that his incredible skill is being recognised on such a notable platform and we urge you to support him in the final stage of the competition.

A shot in the art for Vasily

What artist needs a paintbrush when he can use a revolver? On sale at Irina Zonabend's new Contemporary Art gallery at 99 Mount Street, Mayfair, are works by Vasily Sad, the Ukrainian abstract artist whose idea of "mixed media" is to fire 25 or so bullets into his canvases. They come at £5,000-£7,500 a shot.

Peering through the gaping holes with raised edges made by Sad's bullets you can imagine you are staring into outer space, says Zonabend. "Sad thinks he is firing at the Iron Curtain," she adds, "but he is a peaceful man."
